How To Make Banana Bread without Sugar: The Simplest Recipe

Banana bread is a popular dessert in English - speaking countries as Australia and USA. In Russian culture, for example, baking bananas are more on the unusual side.


Regardless from what culture you came from and whether or not banana is a common fruit you eat regularly, to try this recipe is really worth it.


Firstly, this recipe is sugar free. Bananas greatly supplement the sugar level with their natural sweetness and therefore there is no need for adding extra sugar. If you want to have a really sweet cake then use overripe bananas!


Secondly, the cake has very simple ingredients.

This is the reason I decided to bake it: I saw what was available in the kitchen and made it work.



Enjoy the taste of this healthy and yummy bread!


Ingredients:

- 3 Bananas

- 2 Eggs

- 1 cup Coconut (Soy, Almond) Milk

- 2 1/2 cups Wheat Flour

- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup (Honey)

- 1/2 tsp Salt

- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

- 1 tsp Baking Soda

- 1 tsp Cacao Powder

- 100 g Walnuts (Almonds, Pecans)

- 100 g Coconut Flakes (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 180 C (360 F).

2. Mix 2 bananas and eggs in a blender.

3. In a big bowl mix milk, maple syrup, 1 banana, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cacao powder, walnuts (or any other nuts you use) and coconut flakes.

4. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes.
