During the first century A.D. a Greek physician, Pedanius Dioscorides, wrote an impressive 5 volume work on herbal medicine with over 600 remedies involving essential oils.

A long time before that, Indian, Egyptian and Chinese cultures used herbal medicine in all aspects of their daily life, including religious and medicinal. Their contributions and recipes for essential oil blends are highly praised and valued up until our day.

Such influence from the past, as well as recently raised interest in natural products, brought the popularity in essential oils back. The result of it is an unlimited number of oil blends available online and in healthy stores.

I have been using essential oils for 20 years, mixing, blending and creating personal and natural care products. Below are recipes that I tested myself and am very satisfied and impressed with the results.
